Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Collection Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemarketing, account reconciliation, and medical collections. Duties:

- Contact individuals with overdue payments to arrange settlements
- Utilize accounting software to track and manage accounts receivable
- Conduct account analysis to determine appropriate collection methods
- Collaborate with customers to resolve outstanding balances through negotiation and payment plans
- Apply knowledge of ICD-10 coding for medical collections
- Perform accurate account reconciliations

Skills:

- Proficiency in telemarketing techniques for effective communication with debtors
- Experience with accounting software to manage financial records
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding for medical billing and collections
- Strong account reconciliation skills to ensure accuracy in financial transactions
- Familiarity with account analysis methods to assess payment patterns and risks
- Ability to handle accounts receivable processes efficiently
- Exceptional customer service skills to interact professionally with clients
- Strong mathematical aptitude for calculating payments and balances
